Canada is Doug's favorite place in the world to chase muskies! With vast amount of endless water, spots, loads of fish, and low fishing pressure, it is always truly a trip of a lifetime. Lake of The Woods (LOTW) has a high quantity of muskies that can range from 36-54 inches, where multiple fish days are highly common. It's a great place to sharpen up your skills with plenty of opportunities and encounters boat side. With over 10,000 islands and a million miles of shore line the spots are truly endless! Fishing fast and aggressive on LOTW is my preferred method. Running and gunning all over the lake trying to fish as many spots as possible increasing our odds of a multiple fish experience! This style brings out the best in muskies, fast follows, hard strikes and tons of boat side action.
